Footage of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Jade mobile game set in Ancient China has leaked online.
The leak was first posted on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, but it is likely that the footage was originally shared on Facebook by the Assassin’s Creed Syncposting page. The game looks to be a faithful recreation of Ancient China, and fans are excited to get their hands on it.
The footage, which is two minutes long, depicts the player character on the Great Wall of China with the goal of safeguarding Yongning Village. The player character seems to be at Level 40, suggesting that the mission occurs toward the end of the game. However, it’s possible that this is simply a starting level for playtesters and that tutorial messages appear frequently because of that.
Ubisoft never announced a release date for Assassin’s Creed Jade, but given that the game is already in a playable state, perhaps it is not as far away as initially thought.
