Insider-Gaming asserts that Assassin’s Creed Mirage remains scheduled for an August 2023 launch, even with rumors suggesting a delay to early 2024.

On Twitter, data miner ScriptLeaksR6 mentioned that it’s highly probable both Assassin’s Creed Mirage and The Crew 3, also called Project Orlando, have been postponed. Although Ubisoft has not officially revealed a release date for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Insider-Gaming states that gameplay footage for the project is expected to be showcased at E3.

In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the story unfolds in Baghdad and revolves around Basim, a character initially introduced in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Instead of being an expansive RPG, the game offers a classic Assassin’s Creed experience and incorporates a parkour system influenced by AC Unity.

As Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s Narrative Director Sarah Beaulieu has revealed, the upcoming stealth-action title will explore Arabic and Muslim mythology — something that was teased in the game’s trailer.
