As Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s Narrative Director Sarah Beaulieu has revealed, the upcoming stealth-action title will explore Arabic and Muslim mythology — something that was teased in the game’s trailer.

In the trailer, we see the main character Basim having a vision of a creature known as a ‘djinn’. These creatures are a staple of Arabic and Muslim folklore, and Beaulieu has confirmed that this is indeed what the creature is.

This is just a small taste of what we can expect from Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and we’re excited to see how Ubisoft will further explore this rich mythology in the game.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is slated for release on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One in 2023.
