During a PAX East panel, Ben Prendergast, who voices Tyr in God of War Ragnarok, reportedly suggested that the sequel developed by Sony Santa Monica Studio won’t be the last appearance of the character.
Shark Games reported that Prendergast discussed his portrayal of Tyr and hinted at the possibility of the character’s return. “And I’ll say this – it isn’t the last you’ve seen of Ty,” the actor was quoted as saying.
However, before you assume a new God of War game is being developed, this statement could imply something entirely different. Tyr might make an appearance in the upcoming Amazon Studios God of War TV series or other cross-media ventures. Although we’re confident that another God of War game will eventually be produced, but the Norse-themed story appears to be concluded.
