Skull & Bones Delayed To March 2023

It looks like Skull & Bones won’t be hitting the high seas anytime soon, as Ubisoft has announced yet another delay for the long-awaited game.

Skull & Bones was first announced way back in 2017, and was originally slated to release in 2018. However, after a number of delays, the game was finally given a release date of November 8, 2022.

Now, Ubisoft has announced that Skull & Bones has been delayed once more, and will now release on March 9, 2023.

“Our team is hard at work polishing and balancing the experience ahead of the worldwide launch.” said Ubisoft in a new blog post.

“As a result, we’ve made the tough decision to move our release date to March 9, 2023.

“We’re very eager for you all to get your hands on Skull & Bones and dive in headfirst to the dangerous and exciting world of building your own pirate empire.

To give you the best possible experience we’ve decided to take a little more time to make sure we can deliver exactly that.”

This doesn’t mean you’ll have to wait until 2023 to get a better idea of Skull & Bones however, as Ubisoft does note an open beta will be coming “in the near future.”
